3. Leafy green vegetables

A lot of women experience a heavy flow during their menstruation that dips down iron levels in the body. As a result, you start feeling tired and dizzy. 4. Dark chocolate

A favourite of almost 98% of women. Dark chocolates stay on the top list when we talk about food to eat during your periods. A rich source of iron and magnesium that melts on your taste buds and satisfies your cravings. Grabbing a bar of dark chocolate reduces the major symptoms of PMSing. 5. Flaxseed oil

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, flaxseed oils can be consumed during your periods. It eases constipation and keeps your digestive tract happy.

Bonus Tip: Prevent your insulin levels by getting impacted by the intake of sugary food during menstruation. Curb your refined sugar intake and prevent your glucose levels from spiking up.
